Let’s go bowling!
La Habra’s Youth Bowling program is a great opportunity for your youth to make new friends, exercise, learn proper sportsmanship, have fun, and even earn scholarship money for college!
Included in the nominal weekly fee, our program helps provide our youth bowlers with everything they need to start, including rental equipment (ie shoes, bowling balls etc), bowling shirts, live weekly coaching and more!

Our main goal is always for the kids to have fun. From raffles, to encouragement, to doing the turkey dance after getting 3 strikes in a row. We are always trying our best to create that environment.

Did you know that bowling 3 games is equivalent to walking about a mile? It is also a great way to help build 134 muscles in the body along with improving your balance and stamina.

Everyone has the ability to bowl, and everyone is treated fairly. Our youth bowlers are taught lane courtesy and sportsmanship to ensure that every bowler is treated fairly and in a proper manner.

As we know, math is in almost everyone’s day to day life. Did you know it’s even in bowling? From our Juniors being required to properly fill out scorecards and learning how to manually keep score, to our younger bumpers learning the number that correlates to each pin, math is in many aspects of bowling.

We do not expect the youth bowlers to know what they are doing in the beginning. It takes time, practice, and coaching to help anyone get to where they would like to be. Our coaches are certified through USBC to ensure they are up to date on SafeSport and go through the required background check. This helps provide the upmost safety around our youth bowlers.

More than $7 million dollars in scholarship money is awarded each year by USBC to Youth bowlers nationwide. Funds are earned and available to all of our sanctioned youth bowlers through the SMART program. It can be used for things like housing, tuition, books, and can even help with student loans.

We are so excited for our next season to begin, and we love having new friends join us!
Registration/Assessment day is Saturday May 3rd at 9:00am where we will complete registration, confirm your youth bowler(s), and collect their registration fees.
Please fill out our Pre-Registration form at the link below to help us make Registration day go smoothly.
You will receive an email confirmation with detailed information on what to expect for Day 1, please be sure to come early to ask any questions you may have and get all the needed paperwork for the season.
